2023 Using AI
Time for another little foray into the world of AI, this time DALL-E-2.
The desire to have another look has stemmed from some conversations I had recently with a couple of friends; one who works professionally with AI in a non-visual manner and one who expressed interest in using AI to alleviate some of their own image creation load.

What is it like to be a marsh reed
Interesting results. It seems to have provided fairly satisfactory results for the first two I would say, but the results of the third prompt courtesy of H.G.Thompson (which perhaps is the future of design attribution in the coming decades) left me a little wanting. Is that image an accurate representation of the experience of being a reed? Looks a lot like what a marsh reed might see… but reeds don’t have eyes, so in that sense highly inaccurate. What would happen if you gave that prompt to a contemporary artist, my guess is that they would be able to get to the soul of a reed with a lot more care and dexterity.
