Initially conceived as a space saving measure, local developers began building these multiple dwelling courtyards. One courtyard can lead onto hundreds of homes. Simply turn around within this rectangular space and a new door will reveal itself.
Unfortunately, due to the unwillingness to think about the end user (and an ever fattening corporation bank account) it was overlooked that residents should be able to select their desired courtyard. The result is that the hundreds of people that live here are either stuck in their properties or locked out of them until chance brings about the possibility of escape.
Multiple street vendors have set-up-shop outside the walls and throw food and drink over the walls in exchange for cash, the prices are highly inflated.
The city wide planners think the project is a resounding success and a brilliant step towards solving the city’s overcrowding problem.
